​Reading can help children cope better during the pandemic which has affected more than 1.5 billion students across the globe.


Reading is a great leveller, it brings joy, excitement, sometimes sadness but overwhelmingly reading transports us to other worlds.

​Authors and celebrities have put together unique digital story-time initiatives to help spread the joy of reading until the school can start again. I have selected a few of the best for different age groups of children, they are all free to access and reading online brings no pressure for the children to read independently.  ​
