Does your child need help building their self-confidence and dealing with change?
Wonder Kids uses the creative arts to provide children aged 6 - 9 years old with the tools they need to build their self-confidence, deal effectively with change and develop good friendships.
During this 7-week term course your child will use art therapy activities, mindfulness and dance / movement activities to help them learn a range of vital life skills.

LEA SCHLATTER
Creative Arts Therapist - Wonder Kids Group Facilitator
Lea brings warmth, creativity, and inclusive energy to every session, creating a safe and supportive space where children can grow in confidence and resilience. Known for her friendly manner and sincere approach, Lea meets each child with kindness, helping them feel valued and understood.
Lea discovered the power of art therapy through her own journey with creativity and now believes that every child is an artist in their own right. She is a qualified Clinical Arts Therapist (Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design) with years of experience working with children and groups in schools and community settings. Her sessions combine art, mindfulness, and movement to help children express themselves, manage change, and build strong friendships.
Lea has worked with children of diverse backgrounds and needs, including neurodiverse and neurotypical clients, always following a person-centered, trauma-informed approach. She loves using traditional crafts, clay work, and creative movement to make learning fun and meaningful.
With Lea’s guidance, Wonder Kids becomes more than a course—it’s a safe, creative space for your child to thrive socially and emotionally.
Qualifications:
MACAT, PGDipCAT, MPhil with Honours (First Class), BVA
