Let us help your child develop their resilience and self-confidence to become a Wonder Kid!

This 7 week term course uses the creative arts to provide your child with the tools and mindfulness they need to build their self-confidence, deal effectively with change and develop good friendships.

Your child will use art therapy activities, mindfulness and dance / movement activities to help them learn a range of vital life skills.

Term 2 2024:

Start date: Monday 6th May (runs for 7 weeks)

Session time: 4.00pm to 5.00pm each week.

Age group: 6 - 9 years old



Good social skills are essential in today’s world. However many young people find navigating peer relationships confusing and complex. 

The good news is that social skills can be learned and strengthened with effort and practice. Our Social Squad group course focuses on developing and refining your child’s social skills in a safe, empowering, and friendly setting.

Term 2 2024:



Start date: Thursday 9th May

Session time: Thursdays 3.30pm to 4.30pm each week.

Age group: 8 to 12 years old

Self-organisational and Executive Functioning Skills for home and school.

Is your child always losing their belongings? Does your child struggle to meet assignment deadlines? They could be struggling with their executive functioning skills.

​Executive functioning skills allow your child to plan, focus attention, remember and juggle multiple tasks. They are vital for maintaining relationships, hobbies, studying and general day to day life. 

​This fantastic course was developed by Kidz Therapy therapists after identifying that many children struggle with their self-organisational and executive functioning skills. Feedback we've received from schools and parents too. ​

July School Holiday Course:



Start date: Monday 8th July- Thursday 11th July 2024 (4 days)

Session time: 12noon - 1.30pm each day

Age group: 9 to 14 years old

Depending on the age of the participants registered we may split into younger and older class groups

Targeted handwriting tuition to improve your child's skills and confidence.

Does your child have difficulties writing neatly on the guideline? Do they get cramp when writing? Or maybe they have difficulty forming letters in the correct direction? Many children struggle to write efficiently and neatly.

The good news is that we can help! Targeted handwriting tuition and practice makes a huge difference to your child's confidence and abilities.

July School Holiday Course:

Session time: 10am to 11.30am each day.

Age group: 7 to 11 years old

Let us help build your child's social confidence and communication skills.

The Brick by Brick Programme (Brick Club) is a collaborative play therapy where tamariki work together in teams of 3 to build Lego models.

During each session the building tasks are divided into interdependent roles. Each person in the team will need to participate in interaction and non-verbal communication with their team mates to successfully complete their model.

This course is ideal for children who have a diagnosis of autism or who have social communication difficulties.

Practical, explicit skills and strategies to improve your teenager's academic potential.

Study Skills are learned skills that can be improved with the right guidance. ​These popular workshops are designed to assist students up to Year 13, and University students upon request. ​

Students will take home a 60+ page study guide to help them apply their new skills on a day-to-day basis. This guide was developed collaboratively by Marie Kelly, Educational Psychologist and KTL Tuition Founder. ​

Date:  Sunday TBC June 2024

Time: 1.00pm to 4.30pm

Age group: Years 9 to 13

Study Skills are learned skills that can be improved with the right guidance. ​We have created a new workshop that will help intermediate school students improve and refine their study skills for high school.

Students will take home a 40+ page study guide to help them apply their new skills on a day-to-day basis. This guide was developed collaboratively by Marie Kelly, Educational Psychologist and KTL Tuition Founder. ​

Date: TBC for 2024

Time: 1.30pm to 4.00pm

Age group: Years 7 & 8

Every child has a champion inside of them. But sometimes their champion can be overwhelmed by anxiety. 

This 3 day school holiday course is designed to improve your child's inner growth and self esteem. It will help your child build resilience and teach them tools to cope with anxiety. ​
