These programs are designed to provide children with engaging, structured activities that build essential skills in a supportive group setting. The course will only proceed if we have enough participants to form a group, ensuring a collaborative and interactive experience for all.
Lowercase Legends (7 - 11 year olds)
Targeted handwriting tuition to improve your child's skills and confidence.
Does your child have difficulties writing neatly on the guideline? Do they get cramp when writing? Or maybe they have difficulty forming letters in the correct direction? Many children struggle to write efficiently and neatly.
The good news is that we can help! Targeted handwriting tuition and practice makes a huge difference to your child's confidence and abilities.

Self-organisational and executive functioning skills for home and school.
Is your child always losing their belongings? Does your child struggle to meet assignment deadlines? They could be struggling with their executive functioning skills.
Executive functioning skills allow your child to plan, focus attention, remember and juggle multiple tasks. They are vital for maintaining relationships, hobbies, studying and general day to day life.
This fantastic course was developed by Kidz Therapy therapists after identifying that many children struggle with their self-organisational and executive functioning skills. Feedback we've received from schools and parents too.

Wonder Kids (6-9 year olds)
Let us help your child develop their resilience and self-confidence to become a Wonder Kid!
This 7 week term course uses the creative arts to provide your child with the tools and mindfulness they need to build their self-confidence, deal effectively with change and develop good friendships.
Your child will use art therapy activities, mindfulness and dance / movement activities to help them learn a range of vital life skills.

Session time: 4:00pm - 5:00pm

Tiny Talkers (2 to 4 year olds)
Early language development strategies course for parents with children aged 2 to 4 years old.
Help your child build strong communication skills from the start! Tiny Talkers is a fun, interactive 6-week program designed for parents and children to learn together. Guided by our expert Speech-Language Therapists, you’ll discover practical strategies to support your child’s speech and language development during everyday routines.

Brave Voices Club (8-12 year olds)
Let us help your child develop their speaking confidence!
Whether it is speaking up in class, talking to adults, or delivering a school speech, this course will help.
Through speech and drama games and activities,
Brave Voices Club
aims to give kids the tools to manage nerves, have faith in themselves and develop language and communication tools.
This club is for kids aged 8-12 who want to build their confidence in a safe and supportive environment, alongside similar children. (groups are kept small)
Promotes confidence, communication skills, teamwork and spontaneity.
Facilitated by Amy Userhwood, a self-confessed "shy child", whose confidence lept when she participated in speech and drama as a child and is now passionate about supporting other children to discover their voice and confidence.

How do I purchase a ticket?
All bookings are made through Humanitix. Simply visit our course page on Humanitix: https://events.humanitix.com/host/kidz-therapy
Is there a minimum requirement for the course to run?
Yes. Your child must be:
- Age appropriate – Your child fits within the age range for the course.
- Ready to participate – Can follow simple instructions and engage in activities.
- Comfortable in a group – Able to interact safely and respectfully with peers.
- Basic communication skills – Verbal or non-verbal communication to join in.
- Health and safety – No uncontrolled medical conditions; allergies disclosed.
Can I get a refund for my ticket?
Refunds can be processed by the purchaser through the Humanitix Portal. Please note that Humanitix fees are non-refundable.
If you cancel within 7 days of the course start date, a refund can be offered minus a $50 administration fee. Alternatively, you may transfer your booking to a future course if space allows.
Do you offer refunds or credits for missed sessions?
No, refunds or credits are not provided for missed sessions.
How will I be notified of changes or cancellations?
There is a minimum number of participants required for the course to proceed. If numbers are not met, your booking will be transferred to the next course date.
All updates, including changes to dates or cancellations, will be communicated via email to the address provided at booking.

What if my child is not ready for a group setting?
To ensure a positive experience for all children, participants must be able to engage in a group environment. If a child’s needs differ from what was outlined in the parental form and the group is not suitable, a partial refund may be provided.
The amount deducted will be $57.50 per session attended plus a $75 administration fee (excluding Humanitix fees).
What should my child bring to the course?
We will provide all necessary materials. However, your child should bring a water bottle and any personal items they may need.

Yes, each course is designed for specific age ranges and skill levels. Please check the course description on Humanitix before booking.
Social Squad (8-12 year olds)
Let us help teach your child how to make friends and get on with others more easily.
Good social skills are essential in today’s world. However many young people find navigating peer relationships confusing and complex.
The good news is that social skills can be learned and strengthened with effort and practice. Our Social Squad group course focuses on developing and refining your child’s social skills in a safe, empowering, and friendly setting.

Duration: 1 hour (every Thursday for 7 weeks)
