SPEECH LANGUAGE THERAPIST
Tiegan is a registered member of the New Zealand Speech-Language Therapists Association. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy from the University of Sheffield (UK) and has worked in the paediatric field since graduating. She is passionate about making communication accessible for all children. Working closely with families, empowering them to feel confident and supported in helping their children thrive. Her practice celebrates all forms of communication used in the home and embraces cultural and linguistic diversity.
Tiegan supports children in developing the thinking and memory skills that underpin effective communication and learning. She helps children organise their thoughts, improve working memory, and build the language structures needed for clear verbal and written expression. Her work often includes supporting children with written outputs, helping them translate their ideas into structured, meaningful writing for school tasks or everyday communication.
