Heidi Xu Ping

CLINICAL ART THERAPIST

Xu Ping is a registered creative arts therapist who works with a person-centred, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach. Her practice is guided by creativity, curiosity, and compassion.

Xu Ping creates warm and supportive spaces where expression, imagination, and connection help people explore their experiences, process emotions, and grow. She has supported people from many walks of life and has experience working with children, teens, and young adults with neurodivergence, individuals navigating grief and loss, members of disabled communities, refugees, and people receiving palliative care.

As an Asian immigrant and a trained art teacher, Xu Ping brings a culturally informed and neurodiversity-affirming perspective to her work. She is passionate about supporting clients in ways that respect their unique backgrounds, strengths, and identities. Her goal is to provide holistic, client-led care that helps individuals process their experiences, develop emotional awareness, explore their identities, and build meaningful connections with others.
